Report: When Thunder Rosa Is Expected To Make Her AEW Return Revealed

When will Thunder Rosa be back?

After being out of action since August with a back injury, it was announced on this week's Dynamite that Thunder Rosa had finally relinquished the AEW Women's World Championship. Jamie Hayter was then confirmed as the AEW Women's World Champion, removing the interim tag from her reign, and Toni Storm's 76-day interim reign was officially recognised as being with the title.

Rosa remains on the shelf and she reportedly won't be back on TV until early 2023, according to Dave Meltzer.

"The deal with Rosa was that, when she went down, she was going to lose the title at that pay-per-view (All Out) to Toni Storm. They expected her back November/December, in that timeframe, and I think the feeling was, because of what happened with Punk, where they gave him a couple of months, to be consistent they would have to do the same thing here. Now it's looking like February, so now I think they're saying February's too long," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio

Tony Khan revealed over the weekend that he had considered stripping Rosa of the AEW Women's World Title.
