Report: Why AEW Cancelled The Young Bucks Vs. Top Flight Revealed

The two teams will face off next week instead...

All Elite Wrestling advertised then quickly cancelled a Dynamite match earlier this week. The promotion announced The Young Bucks would be defending their AEW World Tag Team Championship against Top Flight but the bout was scrapped only hours after it was made official.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the match was pulled from this week's show because Matt and Nick Jackson were banged up from their AEW World Tag Team Title match with FTR at Full Gear.

Meltzer said: "That was actually supposed to be on tonight's show but they were just banged up from the match last week, so they postponed it for a week."

Air Wolf and Angel Dorado will face The Bucks next week instead. Matt and Nick Jackson made the match official during a backstage interview with Alex Marvez on Dynamite. They said that while fans will be clamouring for a rematch with FTR, they want to face some new opponents and Top Flight reminded The Bucks of themselves.
