During company-wide cutbacks in April, WWE furloughed or fired multiple backstage producers including Kurt Angle, Billy Kidman, Mike Rotunda and Shane Helms.

Rotunda and Sarah Stock were ultimately let go by the company in September, while Billy Kidman and Scott Armstrong have since been brought back.

Two more producers returned to work last week, according to PWInsider's Mike Johnson. Shane Helms was backstage at Survivor Series and was working as a producer on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw. Fit Finlay has also been brought back in the last week and was a producer at last night's NXT taping.

Helms has worked as a producer in WWE since January 2019. During his time away from the company, he appeared at AEW Full Gear as The Hurricane during The Elite Deletion. Fit Finlay has been a producer in WWE since 2012. While he has primarily worked backstage, he has sometimes appeared on WWE TV separating brawls. He also gave Becky Lynch permission to take Lana's place in the 2019 Royal Rumble.
