Report: WWE Considering Adding New Stable (Possible Spoilers)

Is a new group on the way?

On the eve of WWE WrestleMania 38, a new report claims that there has been a major pitch on WWE's creative end to introduce a new stable into storylines, involving one of the company's most decorated stars.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, the stable would center around Edge. The report states that WWE wants to add more to Edge's presentation, with him being in his first heel run in many years.

Fightful's report notes that the, "...particular pitch that has been talked about heavily from the creative side of things."

The report goes on to say that several names that have been discussed for the potential group, including recent US champion Damian Priest. Priest is not part of the WrestleMania 38 card, and is instead taking part in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on tonight's SmackDown.

Priest had been feuding with Finn Balor in recent weeks, and turned heel after losing the United States title to Balor.

Edge will take on AJ Styles on the second night of WrestleMania 38 in Dallas.
