Report: WWE Considering Relaunching Talking Smack

The popular show could be returning...

Back on August 2, 2016, WWE launched Talking Smack on the WWE Network. On the show, hosts Renee Young and Daniel Bryan would discuss ongoing storylines with WWE Superstars and the series produced multiple memorable moments, most notably The Miz's rant at Daniel Bryan on August 23, 2016.

While it proved popular with fans, Vince McMahon decided to cancel the show on July 14, 2017, reportedly because he didn't think it served the company's best interests.

Talking Smack could be set for a comeback, however, as Mike Johnson at PWInsider reported WWE was considering relaunching the series, possibly as early as later this month. Internal discussions about reviving the show have been going on since January, but the company hasn't made a decision as of writing.

WWE does seemingly like the idea of having a post-show, however, as the wrestling behemoth relaunched Raw Talk on June 1 with Samoa Joe and Charly Caruso as hosts.  The series has had the likes of Shayna Baszler, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre on as guests so far.
