Report: WWE Determined To Beat AEW Dynamite In NXT Head-To-Head

WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite go head-to-head tonight

Hostilities between All Elite Wrestling and WWE will be rekindled tonight as WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite go head-to-head for the first time in 18 months.

If NXT can defeat Dynamite in the ratings ultimately remains to be seen but WWE are determined to do so, according to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer

Tweeting before Monday Night Raw to his Super Followers, Alvarez wrote: "Huge promotional push for the show, they're determined to beat AEW."

WWE have loaded up tonight's NXT with main roster talent and the likes of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, Rhea Ripley, Sonya Deville, and Raquel Rodriguez will all be in action.

AEW, meanwhile, have a stacked show featuring four title matches, including an AEW World Championship match between Jon Moxley and Hangman Page.

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT previously went one-on-one in the Wednesday Night Wars between October 2019 and April 2021. AEW was dominant in the ratings war and NXT ultimately moved to Tuesdays.
