Report: WWE Discussed Bringing Back Braun Strowman

Is "The Monster Among Men" returning?

Former WWE Universal champion Braun Strowman has been discussed for a possible return to the company, according to a report from Fightful Select.

Strowman was released from WWE in June 2021, mere weeks after he wrestled in a WWE title triple threat match at WrestleMania Backlash.

Per the report, sources within WWE have said that Strowman physically looks "ring ready", adding that he looks better now than when he was part of WWE.

Regarding the rumors of Strowman-related discussions in WWE, Fightful's report adds, "People of influence in WWE would not confirm when asked by Fightful, but also didn't deny it."

Since his WWE release, Strowman has only wrestled in eight matches, most of them for EC3's Control Your Narrative group. His most recent match took place for Pennsylvania's IWC promotion in July.

During his six years on WWE's main roster, Strowman held the Universal title, Intercontinental title, and twice held the Raw Tag Team championship. Strowman also won the 50 man "Greatest Royal Rumble", and was the 2018 men's Money in the Bank winner.
