Report: WWE Have No Plans To Air Several Documentaries

Will they ever be released?

WWE have no plans to air several documentaries, even though some of them have been completed.

The Superman: The Story of Vladimir documentary was first advertised all the way back at WrestleMania 37, but the film has still yet to be released and it emerged earlier this week that WWE have no plans to air the completed documentary.

In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported WWE have "zero current plans for the film to see the light of day" and unless a major figure in WWE management changes things, the documentary might never be released.

The film on Vladimir wasn't the only documentary that WWE have scrapped, though, and the Lex Luger Icons episode was originally slated to air on July 4. It has still yet to be released on WWE Network or anywhere else and PWInsider noted WWE aren't in a rush to release the episode.

The company also reportedly worked on a Ric Flair documentary but that has been put on the backburner, as has a Money In The Bank documentary.
