Report: WWE Hell In A Cell 2020 Moved To October 25

On the same night as NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin...

WWE's pay-per-view calendar for the remainder of 2020 was revealed a few weeks ago and reports noted fans can expect to see at least six more major events before the end of the year.

The company's next pay-per-view is booked for September 27 with Clash Of Champions. This is set to be followed by the next NXT TakeOver on October 4. WWE will then host Hell In A Cell on November 1 and Survivor Series on November 22. The year will be rounded out by another NXT TakeOver on December 6 and TLC on December 20.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has changed it's pay-per-view schedule recently and Hell In A Cell will now take place on October 25. Why WWE decided to bring the show forward is currently unknown but this could put the final nail in the coffin for NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin as the event is scheduled to be broadcast on the same day. The UK brand's show has been up in the air for some time because of the coronavirus pandemic. Fans are currently prohibited from attending sporting events in Ireland until at least September 15 when the government will review the current restrictions.
