Report: WWE High On NXT Talent Who They Think Has The 'It' Factor

WWE have high hopes for this NXT talent

An NXT talent could be set for a bright future in WWE.

In a feature about WWE's NIL programme in The Athletic, a WWE official was full of praise for Tank Ledger (real name Joe Spivak), noting they think the former college athlete has the 'it' factor.

"From the very first conversation we had with Joe, you could feel it through the phone, the charisma, the 'it' factor. He has a bright future," the unnamed WWE official said.

Ledger was one of the early recruits for WWE's Next in Line programme that is designed to help college athletes transition to becoming professional wrestlers. Spivak signed an NIL deal with WWE in December 2021 during his time as an American football defensive lineman at Northwestern University. After he wasn't picked up by the NFL's Chicago Bears, he had a WWE tryout and joined the company in the summer of 2022.

Ledger made his in-ring debut in October 2022 on an episode of NXT Level Up and he has since formed a tag team on NXT TV with Hank Walker. They have been regularly featured on NXT TV and Ledger lost a tooth back on May 9 following a Big Boot from Josh Briggs.
