Report: WWE Hold Internal Reassurance Meeting After Mass Redundancies
35 lay-offs from WWE's central offices alone...

WWE reportedly held an internal 'reassurance meeting' with staff after the promotion cut a mass number of employees from their respective positions on Tuesday.
Over 35 employees were laid off from WWE's main offices earlier this week, a number that drastically increases when the departures from WWE Studios and the company's international offices are also factored in, with WWE seeking to streamline their respective departments into smaller divisions.
WWE President and Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan was reportedly at the helm behind a number of these cuts and WrestleVotes is reporting that Khan himself has hosted a meeting among the remaining staff in order to reassure them.
It is noted however, that while Khan was in attendance, nothing of real significance was discussed.
WrestleVotes tweeted: "After yesterday’s layoffs, I’m told WWE hosted an internal conference today with most of the “power players” including Nick Khan. While the meeting was said to be organized well, it contained nothing of real substance. So status quo."
With so many international departures, it has been reported that Khan will take more responsibility of WWE's international offices moving forward, in order to ensure they align with headquarters appropriately.
