Report: WWE Looking To Enhance Ciampa's Presentation

Positive signs for Ciampa

Ciampa looks set for a push within WWE following Monday's episode of Raw.

The Blackheart had two matches on the show, first winning a Triple Threat against Chad Gable and Dolph Ziggler before he defeated AJ Styles in singles action following interference from The Miz to earn a United States Title shot. Ciampa will go one-on-one with champion Bobby Lashley on next week's show.

Ahead of Monday's Raw, Fightful Select reported that "increased discussions" have taken place within WWE about enhancing Ciampa's presentation on the main roster. Among changes that were mentioned included Ciampa being in more matches that showcase his ability and the possible return of his NXT theme, which was popular with fans of the developmental show.

The two-time NXT Champion moved to Monday Night Raw earlier this year and he has received positive reviews from fellow talents and staff for his attitude backstage and his recent alliance with The Miz, Fightful noted. A source also credited Ciampa for working hard while Vince McMahon was head of WWE creative and his recent promo with The Miz "turned a lot of heads and impressed several people backstage."

Ciampa was expected to be on the receiving end of a push following Triple H's appointment as head of creative. The Blackheart was one of the WWE Hall of Famer's favourites on the then-black and gold brand and Triple H made his first appearance on WWE TV since his heart issues at Stand & Deliver to console Ciampa upon his NXT exit.
