Over the past few months, Ben Carter has impressed many in the wrestling world with his matches against Ricky Starks, Lee Johnson and Scorpio Sky in All Elite Wrestling. The Prodigy Of Pro Wrestling even popped up in IMPACT Wrestling this week as he went one on one with Chris Sabin on Xplosion.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has previously reported AEW and WWE are interested in signing Carter. In an update posted to Fightful Select, Sapp revealed NXT UK has made a "major play" to try and sign the free agent in recent weeks. Carter previously mentioned his residential status in the United States meant he worked his matches in AEW for free, but if he was to sign with NXT UK he would have no such issues.

WWE have a battle on their hands to land Carter, though. Fightful noted both parties are yet to agree on a deal, and the Black & Brave Wrestling Academy trainee is still attracting interest from AEW and now IMPACT Wrestling.
