Report: WWE Planning Brock Lesnar's Return

The Beast looks to be coming back for SummerSlam

Brock Lesnar has rarely been mentioned on WWE TV since his departure from the company in April 2020, but The Beast Incarnate was talked about in segments featuring Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley on this week's Monday Night Raw.

This fuelled speculation that Lesnar could be set to return to WWE and Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast reported the company is indeed planning to bring the former Universal Champion back for SummerSlam.

"Lesnar was early on for SummerSlam plans they were trying to do something. I think the concept behind Lesnar is to justify what we're gonna pay him [and] we need a more consistent touring schedule so we can build to this and those appearances by Lesnar will help sell tickets, obviously," Zarian said.

Brock Lesnar may also not be the only major talent at The Biggest Party Of The Summer and Zarian noted fans should expect "to see all of the big names that make sense."

One of those names would seemingly be John Cena and it has been strongly hinted the 16-time world champion will be in the main event on August 21.
