Report: WWE Planning Post-WrestleMania 39 Return To Saudi Arabia

WWE's next Saudi Arabia plans have been revealed.

WWE's plans for the next Saudi Arabia show have been revealed, according to Fightful Select

Fightful state: "There is an active plan to head back to Saudi Arabia in May 2023."

This would potentially place the next Saudi Arabia show immediately after WrestleMania 39 in WWE's premium live event calendar for 2023. It would also be WWE's ninth such event in the country.

Last week's Crown Jewel 2022 event saw Roman Reigns defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Logan Paul in the main event. Previous featured matches at such shows include D-Generation X vs. Undertaker and Kane, Goldberg vs. Undertaker, and Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar.

Fightful's report also claims that an internal WWE memo has revealed Crown Jewel to now be the promotion's most-viewed international premium live event - surpassing Clash at the Castle which took place in Cardiff in September.

WWE's deal with Saudi Arabia has come under much scrutiny and criticism since the first show - 2018's Greatest Royal Rumble event.
