Report: WWE Production Calendar Lists Tuesday, April 13 For NXT Taping

The move looks good for after WrestleMania

It was previously reported that WWE NXT would be moving to Tuesdays after WrestleMania 37 next month, and now there's another hint that that's going to be the case.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that WWE's production calendar for the week following WrestleMania lists Tuesday, April 13 as the date of an NXT TV taping.

WWE has yet to personally confirm the move, and aren't expected to do so until the date draws closer.

An additional report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful cites several NXT talents and staff, who claim their personal calendars show blank schedules for the week following WrestleMania.

Noted Sapp in regards to Johnson's report, "I would imagine Tuesdays will happen then, but WWE hasn't confirmed. There are different calendars for different departments."

A Wednesday staple since going back to 2014 on WWE Network, NXT moved to USA Network in 2019, in response to upstart All Elite Wrestling announcing a two-hour Wednesday night program for TNT. NXT's move to USA saw the program expand to two hours, going head to head with AEW Dynamite, but most often coming out behind in viewership and in the key demos to the rival show.
