Report: WWE Promoting Drew McIntyre As "The Star Of Monday Night Raw"

The main reason you should tune in...

Since winning the WWE Championship from Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36, Drew McIntyre has cemented himself as the top star on Monday Night Raw. The Scottish Psychopath is undefeated in 2020 and has defeated the likes of Andrade, Seth Rollins, and King Corbin in recent weeks. He will look to continue his winning run at the Backlash pay-per-view as he is seemingly set to go one on one with Bobby Lashley.

McIntyre has also been marketed as one of the faces of WWE since The Showcase Of The Immortals and the company is keen to present him as the number one reason to watch Monday Night Raw.

During a recent interview with ESPN, Arto Cal introduced the WWE Champion as "The Star of Monday Night Raw." McIntyre mentioned this was the first time somebody used this to introduce him and said people should say it more often, only for the interviewer to point out that WWE told him to introduce him like that.

Cal said: "No, that's an official edict from WWE. That was definitely something that was said."
