Over the past 12 days, brave men and women have shared their stories of surviving abuse in the British professional wrestling scene and beyond through #SpeakingOut.

Stories have involved wrestlers and staff in every major wrestling promotion including Ring Of Honor, IMPACT Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, the National Wrestling Alliance, All Elite Wrestling and WWE.

Jon Alba at Spectrum Sports 360 reported WWE pulled a contract offer from a "top young talent" on the market because of abuse allegations against them. Alba did not reveal the wrestler's name but noted they were close to signing with the company and would have reported to NXT.

Alba tweeted: "I've heard from multiple sources about #WWE pulling a contract offer from a top young talent involved in the recent string of sexual allegations that have come out about pro wrestlers. Obviously a situation the company (and everyone) has to take very seriously."

He later added: "Since I’m seeing some misunderstanding this: This is NOT someone currently under contract. Someone who was supposed to be signed and brought into NXT."
