Throughout the summer, Andrade and Angel Garza were at loggerheads with one another. The two Superstars constantly bickered back and forth and they were unable to defeat The Street Profits despite multiple attempts.
The tag team appeared to split up on the September 14 episode of Raw as they brawled backstage after Zelina Vega walked out on them. The storyline was seemingly dropped a week later, though, and El Idolo and Garza displayed good chemistry in their match against Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins at Clash Of Champions.
The on-off tag team then seemed to split up again following the pay-per-view after Andrade called the former Cruiserweight Champion the weak link. Mike Johnson of PWInsider reached out to WWE about the promo and was told the two Superstars won't be teaming together going forward.
If Andrade will have more success as a singles star remains to be seen. He was squashed by Keith Lee last week and he has only won one singles match since losing the United States Championship.
