Report: WWE Releases Several NXT Talents
Five releases in WWE NXT
Nov 1, 2022
WWE have released several NXT talents, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.
Bodhi Hayward, Sloane Jacobs, Erica Yan, Damaris Griffin, and Ru Feng are all gone from the company.
Bodhi Hayward is the most high-profile release and he had been regularly featured on NXT TV as a member of Chase U. He was seemingly written off TV after being taken out by Duke Hudson.
Sloane Jacobs was a 19-year-old talent who only joined WWE in March 2022. She was a part of the NXT Women's Breakout Tournament earlier this year but spent much of her time competing on NXT Level Up.
Ru Feng signed with WWE in 2021 after being scouted in China. He had two matches on the Tuesday night show in 2021 but had hardly been used in 2022, only having four televised matches on 205 Live and Level Up.
Erica Yan was also signed last year from China. She had one NXT match in November 2021 and last wrestled on Level Up in September.
Damaris Griffin made his WWE debut in April of 2022 and only had three more matches before his release today. He last appeared on TV in August.
