During the WWE Draft, the likes of Titus O'Neill and Akira Tozawa were picked up by Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown. Other Superstars were later signed following the draft, but two wrestlers in Andrade and Mickie James remain free agents.

There was speculation that Andrade was set to leave WWE after he wasn't selected, but PWInsider's Mike Johnson later reported the current plan is for El Idolo to rejoin Raw.

Why he wasn't initially drafted has also seemingly been revealed. Raj Giri of WrestlingInc. reported the former United States Champion wasn't picked because he is set to undergo a minor elective procedure and will be on the shelf for approximately four weeks. Giri also noted Andrade will be on the receiving end of a push when he does return after surgery.

Why Mickie James went undrafted is still unknown. The six-time women's champion is currently on the sidelines after she broke her nose recently, but she is expected to return to the red brand in a couple of weeks.
