Report: WWE Scrapped Valentine's Day Raw Segment

No Valentine's Day segment on WWE Raw

Love was not in the air on the February 13 episode of Monday Night Raw.

WWE often have special matches or segments around marked days on the calendar like Christmas and United States Independence Day, but the company didn't have any Valentine's Day-related segments ahead of February 14.

WWE did initially plan to have a themed segment, though, and Fightful Select reported the company brought in "a ton of props" for a Valentine's Day backstage segment that was ultimately scrapped. Who would have been involved in the segment and what would have taken place is currently unknown.

Despite the absence of Valentine's Day from Raw, a blossoming romance was hinted at on Monday night after Maxxine Dupri handed Otis a card for Maximum Male Models after watching him demolish a hot dog. Maxxine complimented Otis' body in the segment but if this will lead to the replication of the romance programme between Otis and Mandy Rose is unknown.

Segments that did take place on Raw included a contract signing between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley and Cody Rhodes telling Sami Zayn to believe in himself.
