Report: WWE Sends Matt Riddle To Rehab After Second Failed Drug Test

Why Matt Riddle was written off WWE TV has been revealed.
According to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, the former United States Champion recently failed a drug test - his second failed test of the year - and WWE are sending Riddle to rehab. The belief is Riddle has already entered treatment or will be doing so soon.
Haynes has claimed that Riddle also failed a drug test in the summer ahead of July's SummerSlam pay-per-view, which is why his match with Seth Rollins was pushed back to Clash at the Castle. After failing the drug test for the first time, WWE told Riddle he would either have to go to rehab or be fired if he had another failed test.
Haynes also noted that WWE no longer tests for marijuana.
Riddle was written off WWE TV on the December 5 edition of Monday Night Raw, being laid out by Solo Sikoa following a Samoan Spike and multiple Samoan Bulldozers. The Original Bro was stretchered out of the arena and it was later announced that Riddle would be out of action for six weeks.
