Report: WWE Struggling To Find Another Location For SummerSlam 2020

They have 3 weeks to find an outdoor venue...

WWE's next pay-per-view SummerSlam 2020 is only three weeks away and The Biggest Party Of The Summer currently doesn't have a location after the company announced the event would no longer take place at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

A report from Mike Johnson at PWInsider Elite earlier this week noted WWE didn't want to hold the event at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and had discussed broadcasting the event from multiple outdoor locations, including a beach and a boat.

Their plans might not come to fruition, however, as WrestleVotes reported the company is struggling to find a state that is willing to let them hold the pay-per-view outdoors with limited fans. They noted the wrestling behemoth has focussed their search on the North East of the United States, but COVID-19 cases remain high in the region.

WrestleVotes tweeted: "WWE has looked into hosting SummerSlam within the Northeast at an outdoor location w/ limited fans, and as of now, have found no interested states in allowing that to happen."
