Report: WWE To Host PLE In Italy Next Year

WWE might be heading to Italy in 2025

WWE has been on the road a lot over the last few years, taking the international market by storm for their premium live events. In the last two years alone, WWE have run PLEs from the US, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Wales, France, Australia, Puerto Rico, and are also set to head to Germany for Bash In Berlin later this month.

A new report exclusively from @hashtagPWN on X has suggested that WWE is set to host its first-ever premium live event in Italy, with WWE expected to go back over to Europe in 2025 for an Italian show.

WWE has only sporadically headed to Italy over the years, recently returning in 2024 for a live event in Bologna, but this was the first WWE show in Italy since way back in 2018. Some fans will remember an Italian tour back in 2007 when WWE hosted episodes of Monday Night RAW, Heat, ECW on SciFi, and Friday Night SmackDown in Milan, which notably saw the debut of Santino Marella, who went on to win the Intercontinental Championship from Umaga. A PLE in Italy next year would be the first televised event in the country for 18 years.
