Report: WWE Working On Bringing Bad Bunny To AAA

Bad Bunny may end up making an appearance in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.

The rapper showing up in the WWE-owned promotion was teased during the latest episode of AAA TV on Saturday, July 4 when JBL asked Rey Mysterio, now that Damian Priest had debuted for AAA, if Bad Bunny may make an appearance for the Lucha Libre promotion. Mysterio, who is the on-screen general manager of AAA, replied, "We're working on that as well."

In an update on the situation, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer has reported "there is something to Mysterio’s tease regarding Bad Bunny and AAA."

Bad Bunny has made several WWE appearances in the past and has wrestled for the company on three occasions at 2021's WrestleMania 37, Royal Rumble 2022, and Backlash 2023. There were reportedly plans in place for Bad Bunny to face Travis Scott and John Cena in a tag team match in 2025 but those plans fell apart. WWE have also discussed running a future match between Bad Bunny and Logan Paul.

Bad Bunny attended a CMLL show in December 2025, wearing a Mistico mask to disguise himself, but fans ultimately spotted it was the Puerto Rican singer.
