Report: WWE Yet To Decide On WrestleMania 36 Main Events
They don't have very long to make the decision...
Mar 25, 2020
WrestleMania 36 is less than two weeks away and will be broadcast on April 4 and April 5 from multiple locations. The show itself will be the first pay-per-view taped in advance since SummerSlam 1992 as all of the matches will take place today and tomorrow.
Much of the card is still up in the air, but last week, reports indicated that Drew McIntyre vs. Brock Lesnar was set to main event night one while Roman Reigns vs. Goldberg will end night two.
These plans seem to have changed, however, as WrestleVotes revealed WWE was still deciding on which matches would main event the two nights, but that we shouldn't be surprised if April 4 was headlined by Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler for the Raw Women's Championship.
WrestleVotes tweeted: "Talked with a source who said don’t be surprised to see a women’s match (Becky v Baszler) as the "main event" on the Saturday portion of WrestleMania. Lineup is being worked on now, upwards of 16 total matches. Likely 8 per show."
They later added: "Worth noting, this is far from official. AND, w/ Mania being pre-taped, theoretically, WWE could change the lineup of the matches as to how they appear on the show after they are taped. Quality could make a difference."
