Report: X-Division Talent Departs IMPACT Following Sacrifice

Now a free agent

IMPACT Wrestling spotlighted the X-Division at Saturday's Sacrifice IMPACT Plus special as Trey Miguel successfully defended his championship against Jake Something.

While he was placed in a high-profile spot, opening the show with Miguel, Sacrifice was actually Jake Something's final date for IMPACT and he is now a free agent, Fightful Select reported.

Something's contract was initially up at the end of February but he had one outstanding date on his contract which allowed IMPACT to book him for Sacrifice.

Both sides haven't agreed to a new deal but they ended their relationship on good terms and the X-Division talent would "likely be welcomed back." IMPACT and Something could also work together again if they agree to a new deal in the future.

Following his IMPACT debut in March 2017, Something would sign full-time with IMPACT in April 2019 and he teamed with Cody Deaner as Cousin Jake until their split in December 2020. Jake would then become Jake Something and he performed regularly for the promotion, primarily in the X Division until his departure on Saturday.
