Report: "Zany" Matches To Be Added To WWE WrestleMania 36 Card

More random matches on the way...

WrestleMania 36 is only nine days away as The Showcase Of The Immortals will be broadcast from multiple locations on April 4 and April 5. So far, 13 matches have been added to the card but reports have noted that despite the coronavirus pandemic, the show will still have 16 matches in total.

To even reach 13 bouts, WWE has already thrown together some contests with Aleister Black vs. Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits vs. Andrade & Angel Garza for the Raw Tag Team Championships being added to The Show Of Shows out of nowhere.

Mike Johnson reported on PWInsider Elite Audio that these won't be the last random matches we will see as he explained he had been told by a source to expect more "random sort of zany" bouts to be added to the card.

Johnson said: "I was told to expect more matches to WrestleMania, believe it or not. I was told to expect some random sort of zany matches announced. That's what I was told earlier today."

Daniel Bryan vs. Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship is expected to be announced in the coming days but it is anyone's guess as to what the final two matches will be.
