Return Set To Take Place On Next Week's AEW Dynamite

A return has been made official for next week's AEW Dynamite

A star from New Japan Pro-Wrestling is set to make his return to All Elite Wrestling next week.

Speaking in a backstage interview after the New Japan Cup final, Jeff Cobb revealed he is planning to confront Kenny Omega on the March 29 edition of AEW Dynamite in St. Louis, Missouri.

Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada defeated Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan at New Year Dash on January 5 and The Best Bout Machine came face-to-face with Cobb after the match, hinting at a future clash for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.

The match was never made official but Cobb has continued to call out Omega in recent weeks, including hitting a V-Trigger during his multi-man match at the New Japan Cup final earlier this week.

Cobb has wrestled in All Elite Wrestling before, making his in-ring debut in a loss to Jon Moxley back in February 2020 as the Inner Circle's hired mercenary. Cobb then returned to AEW in June 2022, defeating Cash Wheeler on an episode of Rampage before he and Great-O-Khan dropped the IWGP Tag Team Titles to FTR at Forbidden Door in a Three-Way that also featured Roppongi Vice.
