Rey Mysterio: The LWO Would Be A Huge Success Today

Could the faction make a comeback?

Former Latino World Order member Rey Mysterio believes the faction would be a "huge success" in WWE today if the company decided to revive the stable.

During an appearance on Out Of Character with Ryan Satin, Mysterio said: "If you think about it, things that were cool back then, are becoming cool once again. I truly believe the LWO would be a huge success nowadays. It might happen. There's so much talent and the talent that is yet to come."

The LWO was a short-lived group in World Championship Wrestling from October 1998 until January 1999. The faction was put together to mock the nWo and consisted of top Mexican talent like Eddie Guerrero, La Parka, Hector Garza, Psychosis, Juventud Guerrera and the aforementioned Mysterio.

Key members Mysterio and Guerrero would go on to form The Filthy Animals after the LWO's demise and Juventud would later join the group in 2000.

Should WWE decide to reimagine the LWO, they have plenty of talent to choose from including Angel Garza, Humberto Carrillo, and Gran Metalik.
