Rhea Ripley & Buddy Matthews Get Engaged

Congratulations to Rhea Ripley and Buddy Matthews, who have announced their engagement. Rhea Ripley confirmed the engagement on Instagram, posting the above image along with the following caption: "1000x YES! Pure F*****g happiness!"

Ripley and Matthews went public with their relationship in 2022. Matthews, real name Matthews Adams, and Ripley, real name Demi Bennett, both hail from Australia. It appears Matthews proposed to Ripley during an outing at Florida's Cocoa Beach Pier. 

Rhea Ripley is currently one of the top stars on WWE TV and she is the reigning Women's World Champion. She is a part of Judgment Day with Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and on-screen lover Dominik Mysterio. 

Buddy Matthews, meanwhile, was released by WWE in 2021, joining All Elite Wrestling in February 2022. The former Buddy Murphy has since linked up with Malakai Black, Brody King, and Julia Hart in House of Black. The faction are the reigning AEW World Trios Champions, having defeated The Elite for the belts at Revolution in March 2023.
