Rhea Ripley & Nikki A.S.H Vs. Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler Announced For August 23 WWE Raw
Tag Team Action on the post-SummerSlam Raw
WWE have confirmed a women's Tag Team Match will take place on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw.
The first Raw following all the events of WWE SummerSlam 2021 this past weekend will put Nikki A.S.H and Rhea Ripley up against Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.
A.S.H and Ripley were both in action at SummerSlam at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday. Nikki walked into the event as Raw Women's Champion but lost the title in a Triple Threat Match to Charlotte Flair. Ripley completed the numbers in the bout, having held the Championship from WrestleMania 37 until Money In The Bank last month.
The Almost A Superhero and the Nightmare will both be looking to bounce back from their disappointment when they take on the former Women's Tag Team Champions, Baszler and Jax, on Raw on Monday Night.
Also confirmed for the show is a Championship celebration with Riddle set to throw a party for his tag-team partner, Randy Orton, in honour of their Raw Tag Team Championship victory over AJ Styles and Omos in the opening match of SummerSlam on Saturday.
