Rhea Ripley Returns To WWE NXT

She went straight after Charlotte Flair...

At WrestleMania 36, Rhea Ripley defended her NXT Women's Championship against Charlotte Flair. The two Women battled back and forth for 20 minutes but The Queen used her wealth of experience and forced Ripley to tap out to the Figure-Eight.

The former NXT Women's Champion hasn't been seen since but she made her return to the black and gold brand on last night's episode of NXT. After Charlotte Flair vs. Io Shirai ended in a disqualification, Ripley charged to the ring to stop the 11-time Women's champion from injuring The Genius Of The Sky.

The Australian Superstar managed to get a little bit of offence in against Flair as she bounced her head off the ring apron, but the NXT Women's Champion managed to quickly scurry backstage with her title.

Shirai was less than happy with Ripley's involvement, however, as she berated her former rival backstage.

What the future holds for all three Superstars is currently unknown, but a Triple Threat match seems likely with the recent history between the three women.
