Rhea Ripley Sustained Brief Injury At WWE Royal Rumble

Rhea Ripley sustained an injury at WWE Royal Rumble

Things almost went awry for Rhea Ripley during the Women's Royal Rumble on Saturday, January 28.

Speaking at the post-Rumble press conference, Ripley revealed that she briefly dislocated her knee during the match.

"I'm obviously beat up. My knees aren't very good in general. My knee did dislocate for a second, and then it went back in. I'm feeling good now, and because of all my emotions, I'm just excited, so I'm blocking out everything else. If anything, I can smell blood in my nose, and that's definitely there, but my knee is good," Ripley said.

The Nightmare went the distance in the 2023 Women's Royal Rumble, entering at number one and winning the whole thing after last eliminating Liv Morgan, who was the number two entrant. If she will face Charlotte Flair or Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 39 has yet to be revealed.

Ripley's popularity has only continued to grow in 2022 through her association with the Judgment Day where she has become Dominik Mysterio's Mami.
