WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley recently appeared on the debut episode of Under the Ring podcast, and spoke about raising the stature of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

“I think it’s very important. The Women’s Tag Team Championships sort of get looked down upon by a lot of people, I see it on social media all the time. I get it, we don’t really get good positions on the show and our matches are very very quick, so it’s important to put it on WrestleMania and remind everyone exactly what we can do and how much these titles do truly mean. I love the tag titles, I love tag wrestling, I love everything about it. We just have to remind everyone how much they love it as well. That’s what we’re trying to do.”

Ripley is currently set to challenge for the titles at WrestleMania 38, teaming alongside Liv Morgan against champions Carmella and Queen Zelina, and third team Sasha Banks and Naomi.

It was recently reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the match will possibly change before the show, with the addition of a fourth team (likely Natalya and a partner, thought to be either Shayna Baszler or Shotzi.)
