Rhino Scheduled For AEW Return

Rhino will be making his return to All Elite Wrestling this week when the promotion returns to his hometown of Detroit, Michigan.

Rhino has been doing local media to promote Wednesday and Thursday night's tapings of AEW Dynamite and Collision from the Masonic Temple Theater in Motor City, and PWInsider has reported the former ECW World Heavyweight Champion will be appearing at this week's tapings. Whether or not Rhino will be wrestling is unknown.

The post-Redemption episode of AEW Dynamite will air live from Detroit on Wednesday night, while Collision will also air live on Thursday from the same venue, outside of the show's regular time slot of Saturday nights at 8 pm ET.

Rhino wrestled for All Elite Wrestling at the promotion's Detroit shows in 2025, unsuccessfully challenging Nick Wayne for the ROH World Television Title on the May 8, 2025 edition of Dynamite. Rhino then performed at the ROH tapings, teaming with Hologram to defeat The Frat House.

Rhino is a former star for ECW, WWE, and TNA. He has been a free agent since exiting TNA at the end of 2024 when the promotion asked him to accept a pay cut to remain with the company.

Outside of the 2025 AEW appearances, Rhino has been a regular on the independent wrestling scene, while he has also been a featured performer for Scott D'Amore's Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling.
