Stories like this end up being veritable smoke signals for the ever-reliable Cody Rhodes hand-to-the-ear gif. That said, Rhyno recently offered a bit of insight into his WWE contract situation, and admits that his exact future is not set in stone.

A story for

The Dearborn, MI-based Press and Guide

newspaper covered hometown prodigy Rhyno's recent opening of a marina called Big Daddy's Boat Yard. In the discussion of his new business venture, the Press noted that Rhyno's WWE contract expires in July, and that no new deal has been signed.

The story quotes Rhyno as saying, “I love working with WWE. They’re great. But I might have go somewhere else. I don’t know yet.”

Also noted in the piece is that Rhyno, currently 43 years old, wants to wrestle for another eight years.

The former ECW and TNA World Champion is currently in his second stint with WWE. As of late, Rhyno has not been used all that prominently, only popping up occasionally at the side of Heath Slater, his regular tag team partner since 2016.
