Ricochet Removed From Active WWE Roster

Ricochet gone from active WWE roster

Ricochet has been officially removed from the active WWE roster and moved to the alumni section of the roster page on WWE.com. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion now finds his profile situated between Rick Steiner and Riddick Moss.

Ricochet has been off WWE programming since the June 10 episode of Monday Night Raw when he was written off TV with a backstage attack from Bron Breakker, during which Breakker lawn darted Ricochet off the side of a production truck and then powerslammed through a car windshield. Ricochet was taken away from the arena in an ambulance following the angle, with WWE noting shortly after that Ricochet would be gone for an "undisclosed amount of time."

Ricochet's time away from WWE looks set to be years, with it emerging in June the former NXT North American Champion's contract was expiring and he had given his notice to WWE that he would be leaving the company. The expectation is Ricochet will be signing with All Elite Wrestling when he becomes a free agent.

There is no word on what AEW have planned for Ricochet beyond that a rematch with Will Ospreay is not planned for All In on August 25 inside Wembley Stadium. Ospreay has been vocal about his hope that Ricochet will be signing with All Elite Wrestling.
