Rob Van Dam Comments On Possible WWE Return

He's currently collaborating with the company on the WWE Icons series

Since parting ways with IMPACT Wrestling, Rob Van Dam has remained a free agent, leaving him free to sign with another company if he so desires.

That 90's Wrestling Podcast recently caught up with The Whole F'n Show and Van Dam commented on the possibility of another WWE run.

"I wouldn't hold my breath [laughs]. I definitely don't have any interest in doing like a full-time schedule, but now I don't even know what that is. I guess the guys now don't really have to worry about that with the pandemic. They're just doing TV, there are no house shows. There's no shows anywhere that aren't on TV. I'm here in Las Vegas, the show capital of the world, they don't even have any shows, except the whole F'n Show. It's kinda sad, you know," Van Dam stated.

"But you know a return? Maybe. I don't have anything planned let me put it that way, there's nothing on the agenda. I wouldn't rule anything out, except you know like I said, I wouldn't go back out on the road full-time. We can go ahead and rule that out."

While a return to the ring isn't on the horizon, Van Dam will be featured on WWE Network in the coming months as part of the WWE Icons series. An official release date for the RVD episode has yet to be announced, but the man himself revealed it will be coming out in May.

"They [WWE] contacted me and asked if I'd be interested and that they wanted to make a documentary on me, and I said sure, I'd be interested. We haven't actually shot much of it yet, but [whispers] it comes out in May. So we're gonna be shooting a lot of it real soon, I'm excited about it. I'm talking to them about doing a book, we're in talks," the former WWE Champion added.
