Rob Van Dam Says Being Introduced To Banoffee Pie In The UK Was His Best WWE Moment

WWE legend Rob Van Dam, big fan of banoffee pie

He’s a former WWE Champion, ECW World Champion, Money in the Bank winner, and a WWE Hall of Famer, but what was Rob Van Dam’s favourite WWE career moment?

Well, it was banoffee pie of course.

Van Dam was asked on Twitter to name his favourite WWE moment, with ‘The Whole F’n Show’ stating:

"That time we were all introduced to banoffee pie in England."

Obviously.

It seems RVD is not alone in thinking this, as Shane/Gregory ‘The Hurricane’ Helms replied with an enthusiastic "Yes!!" when reminded of the delicious dessert.

Rob Van Dam signed with WWE in 2001 as part of the ill-fated Invasion, with RVD one of the only Alliance stars heavily cheered throughout the angle, with the fan support pushing RVD to the top of WWE’s mid-card. RVD enjoyed a sustained top level spot in WWE, with the ECW original flirting with the main event on several occasions before defeating John Cena for the WWE Title at ECW One Night Stand II.

But of course, banoffee pie trumps all of this.
