Roderick Strong Signs With AEW, Debuts On Dynamite

A very surprising debut

Now-former WWE performer Roderick Strong debuted on Wednesday night's AEW Dynamite in Sunrise, FL, making the save for longtime friend Adam Cole and others.

The debut came during a segment where Cole called out Chris Jericho, a follow-up to Jericho and company's beatdown of Dr. Britt Baker on last week's Dynamite. Jericho balked at confronting Cole, instead sending his Jericho Appreciation Society colleagues to the ring for an attack.

Orange Cassidy and Bandido unsuccessfully tried to make the save for Cole, only for Strong to make his surprising debut, helping to clean house. Strong and Cole then hugged to conclude the segment.

Tony Khan then tweeted the standard "... is All Elite" graphic after the segment ended.

Before Strong's arrival, there was no indication or report that he had left WWE. His most recent match with the company took place on August 9, 2022, a loss to Apollo Crews on NXT.

With Strong's apparent exit, he is the last member of The Undisputed Era to leave WWE. Cole and the still-injured Kyle O'Reilly are in AEW, while Bobby Fish was with AEW up until last autumn.
