Ring Of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor 2024 PPV is fast approaching, taking place on July 26th in Arlington, Texas, at the Esports Stadium. The card is still looking quite bare with just three matches announced, though one of those was revealed on last night’s episode of AEW Collision.
Undisputed Kingdom’s Roderick Strong took on Dalton Castle in a singles match on the show, which saw Strong win and become the official number one contender for the ROH World Championship, currently held by Mark Briscoe. The match was announced to be taking place at the PPV, which will mark Strong’s first appearance in ROH since all the way back in 2016, when he was signed to the promotion.
Strong has a rich history with the brand, formerly reigning as ROH World Champion, ROH World Tag Team Champion, and a two-time ROH World Television Champion. Following this match announcement, Strong’s Undisputed Kingdom allies Matt Taven and Mike Bennett defeated Mark Briscoe’s Conglomeration allies of Orange Cassidy & Kyle O’Reilly in tag team action.
