ROH Pure Title Match Set For September 7 AEW Dynamite

The ROH PURE Title will be on the line on Dynamite

AEW All Out may be on Sunday, but AEW are already thinking to the future, announcing a rematch between Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia for the ROH PURE Title on the September 7 edition of Dynamite.

The match was confirmed on the August 31 Dynamite, and Garcia will need to get his head in the game due to the ongoing turmoil between himself, mentor Chris Jericho, and hero Bryan Danielson. Yuta has a different problem, as the BCC member finds himself in the eight-man Casino Ladder Match at All Out on Sunday, a high risk bout indeed, never mind several days before a title defence.

This will be the second time Yuta and Garcia have clashed for the PURE Title, with Yuta getting a successful defence over ‘Red Death’ at Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor 2022.

Yuta has so far defended the title on three occasions, after defeating former champion Josh Woods for the belt at ROH Supercard of Honor 2022 back on April 1. As well as defending against Garcia, Yuta successfully defended the title against Tony Nese, and won a rematch against Woods back in May.
