Last night’s edition of AEW: Dynamite took place in Duluth, Georgia, and reports state there were some noteworthy visitors backstage, including former ROH TV Champion Jonathan Gresham.

With ROH cancelling all talent contracts before they go into their self-imposed Q1 2022 hiatus, speculation has been rife about the future of several top tier ROH talents, with Gresham no exception. However, nothing has been said of the nature of Gresham’s visit to AEW, and with the ROH World Title number one contender being a native of Atlanta, Georgia, then there’s a chance he was just visiting friends seeing as Duluth is a half-hour drive from Atlanta.

The report from PWInsider also states that former ROH World Champion Matt Taven, who is in town for the upcoming NWA Hard Times 2 PPV on Saturday, was also visiting Dynamite. Taven and Mike Bennett will be defending the ROH World Tag Team Titles on the NWA show in Atlanta. Again no reason has been given for Taven being backstage.

And last but not least, WCW cult hero Glacier was visiting Dynamite last night. Glacier is a co-founder of The Nightmare Factory training school with QT Marshall and Cody Rhodes, with the school also based in Atlanta, Georgia.
