Ronda Rousey Announces Birth Of Her Daughter

Ronda Rousey has confirmed on social media that she has given birth to a baby girl.

The former WWE Raw Women's Champion and UFC superstar announced on Instagram that she and husband Travis Browne had welcomed their daughter into the world, revealing her name to be La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne.

The name pays tribute to Browne's Hawaiian heritage.

Rousey confirmed, upon taking her hiatus from WWE in 2019, that she was stepping away from professional wrestling and sport in order to start a family. The WrestleMania 35 main-eventer spent just over a year on the active roster with WWE, debuting at the 2018 Royal Rumble before exiting following WrestleMania in 2019.

Rousey was only defeated once during her WWE run, being pinned by Becky Lynch in the Triple Threat main event for both the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships in the main event of WrestleMania 35. Lynch, like Rousey, has since welcomed a daughter into the world.
