Rousey Vs. Deville, IC Title Match Set For 3/4 WWE SmackDown

The road to WrestleMania continues

Two matches are set for the March 4 edition of WWE SmackDown, following angles on tonight's show.

The first is a match pitting Ronda Rousey against Sonya Deville. Deville and SmackDown Women's champion Charlotte Flair attacked Rousey during the opening segment Friday, targeting Rousey's surgically-repaired knee.

Adam Pearce expressed disappointment toward Deville's part in the attack, and made the match for next week.

In addition, the IC title will be on the line on next week's card, as Sami Zayn defends against Ricochet.

Jackass star Johnny Knoxville interrupted Zayn's championship celebration on Friday, and proposed a match between the he and the champ. Zayn turned him down, and went to leave the ring, only to catch an unsuspecting Knoxville with the Helluva Kick.

Backstage, while Pearce admonished Zayn for the attack, Ricochet walked up and issued a challenge for the title. Zayn tried to reject it, but Pearce granted the match on the spot.

UPDATE: A SmackDown Tag Team title match between The Usos and The Viking Raiders has been announced for next week's SmackDown as well. The two were supposed to face off at Elimination Chamber, but the match was reduced to a pre-match attack.

The card for next Friday's SmackDown, taking place at FTX Arena in Miami, is as follows:

* Ronda Rousey vs. Sonya Deville

* WWE Intercontinental: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Ricochet

* SmackDown Tag Team: The Usos (c) vs. The Viking Raiders
