Rumoured Date For Chris Jericho's WWE Return
Y2J loves to keep us guessing.

WWE have reached out to Chris Jericho with a view to returning at the 'Greatest Royal Rumble' event in Saudi Arabia, which is set to take place on April 27th. This news comes via
PWInsider, who have also reported that 'all signs' point to Y2J agreeing with these plans.
Jericho was last seen onscreen at the 25th anniversary of Raw, but hasn't wrestled a match for WWE since a triple threat on July 27th, 2017 (the match where AJ Styles won the United States Championship from Kevin Owens).
Jericho made huge waves in the wrestling world late last year, appearing unannounced in New Japan Pro Wrestling to challenge Kenny Omega. The pair squared off at January's Wrestle Kingdom 12 event, a no disqualification match which Omega eventually won.
The following night, Jericho attacked Tetsuya Naito, and a match between the two seemed to be in the works. This is still yet to come to fruition, and although it was originally rumoured to be scheduled for Strong Style Evolved (NJPW's upcoming show in Long Beach, California), Jericho vs. Naito looks to have been pushed back until later this year.
Jericho himself has actually cast doubt over his New Japan future, denying any future involvement on social media. Of course, where Y2J is concerned, it's often best to take his Twitter promises with a pinch of salt; he remains one of the savviest self-promoters in the wrestling world.
Jericho is currently on tour with Fozzy, and looks set to miss WrestleMania weekend. The final gig takes place in New Hampshire on April 8th - the date of 'Mania itself.
