El Toro Blanco RUSH wants to wrestle AEW's best
Former ROH World Champion RUSH has revealed he wants to wrestle in AEW.
‘El Toro Blanco’ hasn’t wrestled in the USA since September 2021, with La Faccion Ingobernable’s leader out of action for the best part of eight months due to injury and illness. After returning to the ring in April, RUSH has wrestled a handful of matches in Mexico, but told Sports Illustrated (through a translator) that he wants to wrestle for AEW:
“I want to wrestle in AEW,” began RUSH. “I want matches against CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega. Everyone in AEW will learn, when you mess with the bull, you get the horns.”
RUSH continued, “I feel better than ever and I want to conquer the world, especially the USA. I was away from the ring for a long time, but now it’s time to show everyone who is the No. 1 wrestler in the world.”
A former two-time ROH World Champion, RUSH’s history with Ring of Honor surely makes a future appearance in the AEW owned promotion a probable prospect, and with close ally Andrade el idolo in AEW, there’s certainly a route there for RUSH to take.
