RVD Returning To AEW Next Week

RVD will compete at AEW Collision

Rob Van Dam made his AEW debut last month, challenging Jack Perry for the FTW Championship whilst trying to tear down the younger star’s attitude and disrespect of the FTW Title and in turn the legacy of ECW. This is now no longer a one-off as RVD is returning to AEW.

It was announced during last night’s episode of AEW Collision that the former multi-time world champion will be making a return, with the graphic stating that he is set to “return to the ring in his home state.” The show for next week is set to take place in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the Van Andel Arena. RVD was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, so it will be nice for him to return home to compete in front of his hometown crowd.

RVD’s match a month back against Perry was only his third of 2023 and the first he’d had in four months. It isn’t clear if this is a sign of more things to come for RVD in AEW, or just another cameo appearance.
